COLD VAPOR DIFFUSION
Drawing on years of environmental, industrial and building science experience, and frustrated with the drawbacks of electrostatic, ULV, and dry fogging, GLS Engineering developed the SterileStart process from the ground up. The result: Cold Vapor Diffusion.
Cold Vapor Diffusion is most similar to dry fog (frequently used in hospital and clean room sterilization), but has superior fluid and thermo dynamic properties. Dry fog is produced by atomizing a liquid (liquid is shattered into tiny droplets with mechanical force); Cold Vapor Diffusion vaporizes the liquid under negative pressure, thereby creating a “cold steam”, with a consistent discharge temperature below 50°F. The difference eliminates wetting and condensation (major drawback with dry fog) and allows for the vapor to more thoroughly penetrate voids and deep into soft surfaces (carpet, drapes, furniture, HVAC cabinet insulation, etc.) by taking advantage of vapor pressure diffusion.

We have personally tested all cutting-edge disinfectants (Botanical, Quats, Peracetic Acid, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, etc.) and are confident the products we use deliver effective and lasting results.
