Mold Removal in Downtown Charleston, SC

GLS was contacted to develop and implement a mold removal strategy for an apartment located in downtown Charleston. The mold testing company had determined that high levels of Aspergillus/Penicillium throughout the apartment were brought on by faulty operation of the HVAC system, resulting in high humidity. There was minimal visible mold, but air sampling revealed an Asp/Pen spore count of over 75,000 spores per cubic meter (classified as chronic indoor amplification) and there was a strong musty odor. Using advance mold removal techniques, GLS was able to reduce the Asp/Pen spore count to zero. That’s right, 75,000 to zero! And the musty smell - completely gone!
