Musty Odor Removed from Mt. Pleasant Home

A couple in Mt. Pleasant had their home tested for mold by another company due to a persistent musty odor they had throughout the older, ranch-style home they had recently purchased. Although the couple was relieved that they did not have high mold counts, they were still facing a personally annoying and somewhat embarrassing musty smell. The mold inspector, knowing that musty odors can also be caused by odor-causing bacteria, recommended they call GLS Engineering to remove the odor. Using our SterileStart services, we performed a whole-house antimicrobial fumigation, which also treated the HVAC system and ductwork, followed by a chlorine dioxide gas treatment to complete the odor removal process.
